Barony Hill Trail 10.5 km / 6.5 miles
A walk of contrasts – open moorland views, a summit ridge and idyllic woodland walking. For a short walk to sample the area, follow this route in reverse – from Dailly follow the River Girvan at the rear of the village as far as you care to go, then return along the same path.
Maxwellston Hill Trail 5.5 km / 3.5 miles
A rough hill walk to a panoramic viewpoint. This is one of the trickier walks in this area, requiring the ability to take and follow a compass bearing -useful should the mist descend on the featureless summit plateau.
Quarry Trail 4.25 km / 2.5 miles
Update 24th March 2018: Although listed on the Dailly Trails leaflet, this walk is no longer accessible due to forestry operations at Brunston Quarry Plantation.
For health and safety reasons, please do not attempt to access the plantation on this route.
